Family & Consumer Sciences
The Lincoln Public Schools Family & Consumer Sciences program includes a comprehensive secondary program to teach skills for successful living at home, within the community and society. Course offerings include a variety of subjects within Family & Consumer Sciences such as Early Childhood Development, Human Development, Foods, Nutrition, Parenting, Relationships, Interior and Clothing Design.

Lincoln High Teacher Alicia Beck Receives State Award
Alicia Beck received the Association of Career & Technical Education of NE (ACTEN) New Career & Technical Education Teacher award at the NE Career Education Conference in June. Alicia has taught at Lincoln High for the past three years and served as the President of the Family & Consumer Sciences Teachers of NE (FCSTN) during this past year.
Northeast Teacher Sharon Holliday is NAFCS Teacher of the Year
Sharon Holliday received the NE Association of Family & Consumer Sciences (NAFCS) Teacher of the Year award at the Spring meeting in April. Sharon has taught FCS at Northeast for the past 15 years and currently serves on the state board for the organization.
