THE HOME STRETCH

This weekend marks the annual Lincoln Marathon. This is a huge event where lots of people get out on the course and put their training to the test. The interesting parts of the marathon are the start—once you take the first step you are off! The other very important piece is the finish—you work very hard to cover twenty-six miles but unless you add the last couple of hundred yards it was all for naught! Our school year is like a marathon.
