Thank You for joining us for our first day of the 2014–2015 school year. Please continue to enjoy the photos and updates that were posted here throughout the day

Today school begins at Lincoln Public Schools for the 2014/15 school year.

And there are some big changes:

  • Some teachers are starting their first year; some are starting their last
  • Students who are now 'all grown up' and have moved up to middle school or high school
  • Students new to a grade, new to Lincoln, or new to the idea of school

And the excitement remains. It is impossible to comprehend all the knowledge that will be consumed by our students this year. But today, we know they will start with the basics: names, routines, lunches and previews of what's to come.
