Unmuting Student Voice

Session Description

Can you hear me? How about now? Learn how to move from “sage on the stage” to a more student-focused classroom by providing opportunities for students to become the creative communicators needed in life beyond school. Hear from Stephanie howell as she offers practical, immediately applicable tools, resources, and strategies for taking the next steps toward allowing more student-driven voice and choice in your classroom. Roadblocks will also be addressed, complete with action steps to overcome them. Through technology, we can allow students to communicate in ways that amplify the voice of every single student in class. By taking these important leaps now, we create students who are communicators, advocates, and collaborative problem-solvers at every age level.
