Elementary School

This elementary school will be located in northeast Lincoln east of 102nd and south of Holdrege. Opening in the fall of 2022, the elementary school will be the 40th elementary school in LPS.

The Process

All nominations for names will be passed onto a committee of community citizens – called together by the Lincoln Board of Education. That committee will develop recommended names for all three facilities and submit them to the Lincoln Board of Education for final approval.

Townhalls

LPS staff are planning two webinars to give the community more information about the three new schools and answer any questions. Both webinars can be accessed at the date and times shown via Zoom using the button below. Both will also be broadcast live on the LPS Facebook page, and a recording will be made available on the LPS website.
