During the 2016-17 school year, the students and staff at Humann Elementary School relocated temporarily to a building formerly known as the Bison Center while crews worked to renovate their building. Sunday, September 10, was an opportunity for the community, including alumni, to tour the newly renovated space during an open house event.
The renovations at Humann Elementary School included a new main office and secure entrance, indoor air quality improvement, modifications to classroom spaces, improved technology throughout the building and installing new sound enhancement system in each classroom.
The project was part of the 2014 bond issue for $153 million.
