Northeast hosts engineering and robotics summer camp

Lincoln Northeast High School hosted its annual Engineering and Robotics Camp for students in seventh and eighth grades June 11-15.

The five-day camp was open to students who attend Mickle, Dawes and Culler middle schools, the primary feeder schools for Northeast. The half-day camp had five primary goals:

  • Build problem-solving skills
  • Discover how things work
  • Explore engineering as a career option
  • Learn math and science while having fun
  • Engage in real-world engineering problems

Camp activities included robotics and working with a 3D printer. Attendees also learned about the engineering design process and careers in engineering.
