Two LPS high schools advance to state one-acts

Lincoln High School and Lincoln North Star High School have advanced to the state one-act competition in Norfolk this Friday, Dec. 7.

Lincoln High placed second in the A-1 district with its production of “Cyrano De Bergerac.” North Star placed second in the A-2 district with its rendition of “Orphan Train.” Both schools will compete Friday, with North Star’s performance at 3:45 p.m. and Lincoln High at 6 p.m.

Lincoln Southeast and Lincoln East high schools placed third in their districts, while Lincoln Northeast High School placed sixth at district competition.
