LPS Multicultural Scholar Town Hall with Steve Joel

Lincoln Public Schools Superintendent Steve Joel recently participated in a virtual town hall with students from across the district in which he fielded questions about equity, diversity and inclusion within LPS.

The event was based at Lincoln East High School and was moderated by LPS Youth Development Team Coordinator Pete Ferguson and two students, Desiree Chavez from Lincoln Southeast High School and Riek Bol from Lincoln High School. Students from across the city asked questions via Zoom during the nearly hour-long forum.

Similar town halls are planned for the future.
