Dear Dr. Joel: Please don't take our snow days away

Sheridan Elementary School third-grader George Barry heard a troubling rumor recently: That snow days would be replaced by remote learning. It was so troubling, in fact, that he decided to email Lincoln Public Schools Superintendent Steve Joel and make his case for keeping snow days. Joel was so impressed that he paid a surprise visit to Sheridan and shared some heartening news with Barry and his classmates.
